Mediatek Selects CellMath Designer for Next Generation Multimedia Projects

WARWICK, UK - (BUSINESSWIRE) - July 20, 2006 - Arithmatica, the silicon math company, today announced a licence agreement to supply its CellMath Designer datapath synthesis software to MediaTek, the leading Taiwan-based supplier of multimedia and DVD chipset products.

According to MediaTek, MediaTek has scheduled CellMath Designer to be applied on the next generation controller chips. It chose CellMath Designer primarily based on its language support which is a real productivity advantage, where the tool combines better quality of results for power, area and speed with productivity features in datapath design. During MediaTek's evaluation, CellMath designer demonstrated good quality of results that fit into current existing design flow and produced correct, equivalence-check verified output netlist that passed APR with reasonable utilisations.

Pricing and Availability
