Job Description: The primary focus for this role will be pre- and post-sales support of CMD, our industry-leading datapath synthesis tool. You will be responsible for proactively driving product sales and customer success in North America, with primary focus in Silicon Valley and Southern California.
- Technical pre-sales presentations in person and over the web.
- Managing the successful outcome of product evaluations.
- Providing post-sales customer support: Training, problem resolution, methodology guidance, and technical account management.
- Driving new product enhancements through collecting customer requirements and working closely with product marketing and R&D.
- Managing multiple accounts concurrently and being very effective at interacting with customers; not only design engineers, but first or second level management as well.
- Play an active role in account planning and management: Working as part of the sales team, identify and qualify new prospects, develop solutions to prospect’s problems based on their needs and issues, communicate value proposition to technical prospects.
Job Requirements: Candidate will have strong technical skills and be a self-starter who is flexible and highly motivated. Additional requirements include:
- Strong background in ASIC design, implementation and methodologies
- Experience with synthesis tools and design flows from RTL to place/route
- Expertise with formal verification (equivalence checking) tools/flows
- Experience in simulation of RTL and C models
- Fluent with scripting languages such as tcl and synthesis constraint files
- Minimum 3 years of Field Applications Engineering experience
- Excellent written, verbal, communication and presentation skills
- BSEE/MSEE, 5+ years of related industry experience
